    You'd be shocked to know about the spectator capacity of 60,000 in this home ground of the Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Sunrisers Hyderabad. This beautiful and one of the biggest cricket stadiums in India has already hosted Test cricket as it first hosted a Test match between India and the Kiwis in on the 12th of December 2010.

    It has hosted several international matches and the first match here was played between India & Australia in April 1998. It was a One-Day international match and the people of Kochi had a wonderful experience in one of the country's biggest cricket stadium

    Mumbai being one of the biggest metropolitan cities of India holds a huge number of grounds inside the city and DY Patil Sports Stadium is one of them. It has a spectator capacity of around 55,000 and it holds almost all the facilities of an international venue. 

    With this much capacity, it automatically becomes one of the biggest cricket stadiums in the country but, so far it hasn't hosted any international match. Although, it has hosted some of the most high-profile IPL games such as the final of the first IPL edition in 2008. 

    It also hosted the final of IPL 2010 that was the third edition of the competition. It was built in 2008 and it is looking forward to make its international debut soon as one of the biggest cricket stadiums of India.

    It is also one of the biggest cricket stadiums in the world as it can host over 53,000 people at one time.   10. 10 10. Ekana International Cricket Stadium (Lucknow, India)

    At no 10, we have this amazingly vibrant Ekana International Cricket Stadium located in Lucknow. It is undoubtedly one of the biggest cricket stadiums in the country with a capacity of more than 49,000 seats. 

    The magnificent and lush green outfield gives this stadium an entirely different look and its C-shaped stands are truly wonderful to watch and sit for the spectators to enjoy the live-action. 

    The Ekana Stadium was built three years back in 2017 and so far, this ground hasn’t made its international debut yet. This ground started its official domestic cricket career with a Duleep Trophy encounter in the 2017-18 season.
